Simple Self Care Practices for Healthy Mind, Body and Soul

Self-care is about guiding your life with fitness which can be physically, mentally and spiritually beneficial. When we are fully busy in our work, we are not able to concentrate on caring for ourselves. We have time to pamper others but we have no time to show care for ourselves. Before the time, aging starts and we never realize what do we do to actually live our lives?

Self-care practice is as useful as taking care of financial matters. If a person can give 8-16 hours for earning, can't he/she give 8-16 minutes for self-care practice which can bring a miracle in his/her? There is nothing to think about selfishness in taking care of own and giving some more time to own self.

Self-care practices from Deborah which can help anyone to bring life in the process of living.

Dance around
You can shut your curtains, play any dancing music in your phone or radio and dance around. Enjoy the lyrics and have some common steps and just enjoy your life.

Productive task
No wonder how small or big it is, enjoy doing some task which makes you more productive. Like writing article, clicking best pictures, learning new things, etc.

Being patient
Patience is the art of life, the person who knows it can really bring positivity in life but one needs to really understand why and how being patient can increase our self-actualization process.

Learn to cook some healthy meal and make one favorite meal when you feel like you are uninspired and feeling down. Happy tummy will always energize your mood.

Practice to-do list
We are overloaded with works and our work keeps on pending, so if you make a to-do list for every day, you will realize your target and works that need to be completed. Even successful people have this habit in common.

Enjoy your favorite show
Many people have favorite tv shows but very less go for it. There is nothing wrong with enjoying what you love. Viewing some channels like comedy channels, sports channels, Recipe shows can make you learn something new every day.

Go to a coffee shop
Enjoy coffee in nearby shops and meet to strangers. Sometimes talking to strangers can help you exchange that positive energy what you are looking for.

Walking around
You can either go morning walk or evening walk but do not take a phone with yourself. Enjoy your real life and enjoy your present.

Take a shower
Taking a shower is more about self-care and it makes you feel delighted and refresh your mind.

Do your hair
If you don't know about hairstyles, you can learn from youtube but you can try some new hairstyles. It's a way to pamper yourself.

Wear your favorite outfit
Waiting for big days to wear something you like is great but sometimes we love is never used. Just don't wait that big day to come but enjoy wearing it once in a week. You will feel great about it.

Go for massage
You can join a spa and weekly or monthly go for a massage. After all, working all day long, your body deserves to be treated well.

Do volunteer work
Help someone nearby or be engaged as a volunteer for some good cause. You can participate in many volunteer works, which will make you feel proud for the think you did.

Plan your vacation
Plan your vacation to wherever you want to go. Just planning about vacation can make you feel that you are actually traveling and accepting to be more proactive.

Write a letter
This one is really interesting. Being yourself as a third person, you have to write a letter for yourself and it should include good things about you. This will make you feel where you need to upgrade for yourself.

There are so many ways to self-care, but at least try some and know why it is worthy. Self-care practice will definitely make you feel good.

Behavioral approach in Clinical Psychology

APSARA KATUWAL  DANGOL Behavioral approach is based on the belief that behavior can be learned. It focuses on a scientific and objective method of investigation. It is also concerned with observable Stimulus-Response behaviors. This approach also focuses on learning's role in developing both normal and abnormal behavior. Early theorist Ivan Pavlov discovered classical conditioning (associative learning). He conducted a famous study using dogs. It focused on the effects of a learned response to a stimulus. For example, a dog started salivating when it heard the bell. Here, the sound of the bell would symbolize the message of getting food. Another behaviorist, Edwar L. Thorndike discovered Operant Conditioning and later B.F. Skinner analyzed operant conditioning. It is based on rewards and punishment to shape people's behavior. Edward L.
