For Your Body, Mind and Soul

APSARA KATUWAL DANGOL

Swami Sivananda once said, " Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your small acts. This is the secret of success."In our life time, we get to see many intelligent people. We are always inspired by what they do and what they say. We follow them and we want to succeed like them. We get to hear that the celebrity has become a billionaire and after some days hear that the same celebrity is suffering from Cancer. So, life is all about pain and gain and many times gain and pain. The only thing we need to understand is, besides our all achievement how much we are giving time to our body, mind, and soul. It is not bad to be materialistic, it is not bad to eat what you like, it is not bad to sleep late, it is not bad to be workaholic. But it is 100 times good to listen to your body, mind, and soul. Help your body, listen to your mind and make the peaceful environment for your soul.

Body
How can we help our body to make it fit and healthy? Firstly remember, how many hours do you sleep? Give your body to sleep at least for 7 hours. To achieve more in life, and to remain active all day, good sleep at night is necessary. Increase green supplements in your food. When you wake up, try to meditate. It helps your body to live in present. Realize what is going around.Sometimes, go for acupuncture or massage. Help your body to relax. And most important, drink eight glasses of water every day for your good health. It's right of your body to remain healthy.

Mind
It is said, empty mind is the home of a devil. Be obsessed with reading an inspirational book. Feed your mind with innovative ideas, inspiration, love, humanism. Our mind is amazing. It has unlimited potential. When we choose positive energy, things start to change positively. We must have a habit of controlling our thoughts, and emotions so we can use our mind the way it has to be used. It is said a negative mind will never give positive life. It destroys everything.

It is said that Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, and small minds discuss people. Now, it is in your hand, what you want your mind to be?

Soul

Paramahansa Yogananda has one said, " Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts". Whatever you do, the service you give, the contribution you make only can satisfy and enrich your soul. We are surrounded by negativity, and of course we act to the stimulus around us but still, we can bring that purity in ourselves. Listen to inspirational audios whenever you are walking alone. Be satisfied with your life and add energy in life to be less materialistic. Help yourself and help helpless. Remove the feeling of hatred. Enjoy your life. Bring smiles in sad faces. Make your soul strong.

So, for your body, mind, and soul, devote some time. Later you will definitely feel, what you experienced were more important in life. Happiness & Health can be in our luck for understanding our own body, mind and soul.

Behavioral approach in Clinical Psychology

APSARA KATUWAL  DANGOL Behavioral approach is based on the belief that behavior can be learned. It focuses on a scientific and objective method of investigation. It is also concerned with observable Stimulus-Response behaviors. This approach also focuses on learning's role in developing both normal and abnormal behavior. Early theorist Ivan Pavlov discovered classical conditioning (associative learning). He conducted a famous study using dogs. It focused on the effects of a learned response to a stimulus. For example, a dog started salivating when it heard the bell. Here, the sound of the bell would symbolize the message of getting food. Another behaviorist, Edwar L. Thorndike discovered Operant Conditioning and later B.F. Skinner analyzed operant conditioning. It is based on rewards and punishment to shape people's behavior. Edward L. Thorndike discovered Animal Intelligence. He found that punishment didn't weaken S-R connections but inhibited their expression. ...
